Trinity Construction Group, LLC turned a three-story building into a commercial coffee shop and two-unit apartment complex in Downtown Harrisburg. We worked in conjunction with WCI Partners, LP for the build out.
Project Performance by Trinity Construction Group, LLC:
General Contractor and management for the entire build out, oversaw, coordinated, and planned the entire project from start to finish.
Coordinated with KW for the design and schematics for the build out.
Selective Demolition, removed existing walls, plaster, ceilings, flooring, electric, plumbing, and mechanical systems while preserving key historical elements including the common stairway and original sideboard cabinet for the back-bar.
Masonry & Exterior, power washed sandstone to remove staining, spot pointed brickwork, reglazed storefront windows, installed black canvas awnings, and replaced the sidewalk along 2nd Street with fresh concrete and a 2-foot brick paver band.
Framing, framed all interior walls per the new layout, constructed a new interior handicap ramp to meet ADA code, and created a diagonal bump-out into the common hallway.
HVAC, installed three new gas furnaces and outdoor condensing units on the roof for each floor, ran all supply and return ductwork, and installed digital programmable thermostats.
Plumbing, installed all new PVC waste lines and PEX supply lines throughout. Installed two new electric water heaters, new shower units, vanities, comfort height toilets, and set up plumbing for the coffee shop.
Electric, installed three 200-amp electrical services for the units and a 100-amp service for the hallway. Ran all new wiring throughout, installed panels inside finished floors, and added all necessary lighting and circuits.
Carpentry, installed a new custom coffee bar with concrete countertops on the front and back bar, built-in shelving, new doors, window casings, baseboards, and iron handrails for the ADA ramp.
Flooring, installed ceramic tile in the coffee shop bathroom, apartment kitchens, and bathrooms. Installed hardwood flooring in living rooms and hallways, and carpet in bedrooms.
Insulation, installed all new insulation throughout including R-11 between units, R-13 in exterior walls, R-38 in unit 3 ceiling, and R-19 in the basement ceiling.
Drywall, hung, taped, and finished all drywall throughout the building.
Painting, applied primer and finish paint coats on all interior walls, ceilings, trim, and sealed exposed brick sections where designated.
Security, installed keypads, motion detectors, and exterior door sensors for the coffee shop and apartment units.
